Dish TV appoints Manoj Dobhal as CEO-designate

Manoj Dobhal, the current Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Dish TV India Limited, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – designate of the company. With a track record of driving growth in various industries, Dobhal previously served as the COO of Akash DTH. Notably, as the Head of Tata Sky Broadband Sales, he revived a struggling startup, achieving remarkable subscriber growth despite tough competition. Dobhal’s expertise extends to media distribution and telecom, where he led distribution efforts for major channels and oversaw GSM and CDMA technologies. Additionally, he made notable contributions to the FMCG industry.

Dobhal will replace Anil Kumar Dua, the current CEO of Dish TV India Limited effective August 22, 2023. Dua has tendered his resignation, however, he’ll stay for another three months to ensure a smooth transition. Dua joined Dish TV in 2017 and oversaw the successful merger with Videocon d2h Limited.
