
Deutsche Bank Executive William Mansfield Appointed As Head of EMEA M&A At Citigroup
Citigroup has hired William Mansfield as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for the U.K., Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to a Reuters report citing an internal memo, which a Citi spokesperson confirmed.
He will succeed Robin Rousseau and Barry Weir, who previously led the business in the region. Rousseau has been promoted to Global Chair of M&A and will focus on European clients and cross-border transactions, while Weir has been appointed Vice Chair of M&A with a focus on UK and natural resources clients.
Mansfield, who previously served as Head of EMEA M&A at Deutsche Bank, is expected to join Citi in September and will be based in London. He will report to Citi Global Co-Heads of M&A, Guillermo Baygual and Drago Rajkovic.
