Deepu Bansal Appointed Independent Director of ZEEL

Deepu Bansal has been appointed as an additional Independent Director of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) with effect from October 13, 2023, for a term of 3 years.

She is a Chartered Accountant and a certified ESG professional by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has 18 years of experience in handling financial matters, and currently, she is a Senior Partner at NDB & Associates LLP, focusing on the BFSI sector, which includes non-banking financial companies, asset management companies, insurance companies, and capital markets. She has worked as an Internal Auditor and provided audit support to boards and audit committees of large corporations. She also advised on important accounting matters related to the listing of Life Insurance Corporation of India Limited and provided management consultation to major institutions on process and control-related issues. Additionally, she has been actively involved in drafting guidelines for investments with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority and the insurance industry.
