Daniel Hughes Callahan Retired as Independent Director of TCS

Daniel Hughes Callahan (Don Callahan), Independent Director of Tata Consultancy Services Limited, retired on January 9, 2024, as he had decided not to seek reappointment for a second term.

Callahan served as Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Operations and Technology at Citigroup until November 2018. In this role, he transformed Citigroup’s operations and technology into a globally integrated enterprise. Prior to Citi, he was the Director of Strategy for IBM Japan and held various roles at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, focusing on strategy, business development, and client technology. He is actively engaged in community organisations, serving as Co-Chairman of Sheltered Harbour, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Manhattanville College, and holding board positions at the American Red Cross in Greater New York and the New York Hall of Science. Additionally, he is a member of various committees and clubs, including the Gaelic-American Club in Fairfield, CT, and the Business Committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has a BA degree from Manhattanville College.
