Coal India Limited (CIL) announced the appointment of P M Prasad as Chairman & Managing Director on 1st July, 2023. He is replaced by Pramod Agarwal.
Mr. Prasad joined CIL in 1984 as a management trainee at Western Coalfields Limited. He worked in various roles across different subsidiaries of CIL. He also spent three years as Executive Director (coal mining) at NTPC.
