Chander Agarwal Reappointed As MD Of TCI Express; Vineet Agarwal Reappointed As Director
Chander Agarwal has been reappointed as Managing Director (MD) of TCI Express Limited, with effect from August 17, 2026, subject to the approval of the Central Government and Vineet Agarwal reappointed as Director.
Further, Pavan Kumar Munjuluri and Vikram Singh Mehta have been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors (Additional Directors), with effect from May 27, 2026.
Additionally, Soumya Ranjan Rout, IT-Head, has been designated as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company.
Chander Agarwal is Founder & MD of TCI Express and has over two decades of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain management and business development. Under his leadership, the company expanded its network from around 650 branches to more than 970 company-owned offices, with delivery reach across over 60,000 locations in India. He has led initiatives related to technology integration, operational systems and infrastructure development, including automated sorting centres and multimodal logistics operations. Agarwal has also focused on expanding the company’s market presence and strengthening its long-term business strategy in the express logistics and supply chain sector.
Vineet Agarwal is MD of Transport Corporation of India Limited and has more than three decades of experience in logistics, transportation and supply chain management. His expertise includes business strategy, operations, infrastructure development and multimodal logistics services. Under his leadership, the TCI Group has adopted new technologies and operational systems to strengthen business operations and expand service offerings. He has played a role in developing the group’s supply chain management and multimodal logistics businesses, with focus on value-added logistics services. Agarwal continues to contribute to the company’s governance framework, operational management and long-term business strategy across domestic and international logistics operations.
Pavan Kumar Munjuluri has more than four decades of professional and executive leadership experience across multinational and Indian companies. During his career, he has held senior management roles in industries including consumer goods, packaging, and agribusiness & specialty chemicals. His experience covers business transformation, operational management, strategic planning and Corporate Governance. Munjuluri has worked across functions related to business operations, leadership development and organisational growth. He is currently associated with multiple businesses in advisory and mentoring roles, where he provides guidance on management practices, governance frameworks and business growth strategies.
Vikram Singh Mehta has more than three decades of professional experience in financial advisory and corporate management. He is currently a Partner at HLB Avaant Advisory LLP, where he advises companies on corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt advisory and private equity transactions. His expertise includes financial management, governance, risk management and strategic advisory services. Mehta also serves as Director on the Board of Shade Capital Pvt. Ltd. In addition, he has been associated with industry bodies including Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).
Soumya Ranjan Rout has more than two decades of experience in information technology infrastructure management, digital transformation, enterprise applications and IT operations. His work includes planning and execution of IT strategies aligned with organisational objectives, including infrastructure modernisation, application support, disaster recovery planning and technology-led process optimisation. Rout has managed multi-location IT environments and has experience in vendor management, software and hardware procurement and enterprise system operations. His expertise also covers ensuring system availability, operational continuity and implementation of technology solutions across large business environments.
