CESC Appoints Brajesh Singh & Vineet Sikka as Presidents

The Board of Directors of CESC Limited has approved the appointment of Brajesh Singh as President, Generation, and Vineet Sikka as President, Distribution, with effect from May 9, 2024. Singh and Sikka will head the generation business and distribution business, respectively, of the company.

Brajesh Singh has 37 years of experience in the power generation sector and has made significant contributions to plant operations, commissioning, and project management during his association with previous companies. Singh was previously associated with NTPC and Tata Power Company. He is a mechanical engineer from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and an M.Tech. in Power Generation Technology from IIT Delhi.

Vineet Sikka is an electrical engineer from NIT Kurukshetra and has 34 years of experience. Sikka is a seasoned professional with proficiency in business planning, operations management, marketing and sales, P&L, and stakeholder management within the power distribution industry. He was previously associated with BSES Rajdhani Power, ABB India, and Siemens India.
