Centrum Capital Reappoints Jaspal Singh Bindra As Executive Chairman
The Board of Directors of Centrum Capital Limited approved the reappointment of Jaspal Singh Bindra as the Executive Chairman (Director) effective April 21, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Bindra has over 38 years of experience in Indian and international financial markets, having worked with Standard Chartered Bank, UBS Group, and Bank of America. Before joining Centrum, he spent 18 years at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was elevated to the Board of Directors of the parent company. Under his leadership, Centrum Group expanded through acquisitions, including FirstRand Bank India’s microfinance business (2017), Altura Financial Services (2019), and L&T Finance’s Supply Chain Finance Business (2018). He holds a B.Com (Hons.) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, is a Chartered Accountant, and earned an MBA from XLRI.
