Ceat’s Company Secretary Vallari Gupte To Step Down

Vallari Gupte has tendered her resignation from the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer (Key Managerial Personnel, KMP) of Ceat Limited, as stated in her letter dated April 22, 2024. Gupte expressed the constraints of relocating out of Mumbai for family reasons in her resignation letter. According to a company statement, she will be relieved from the services of the company and the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer with effect from the close of business hours on May 7, 2024.

Gupte is a Fellow Company Secretary, Grad. ICSA UK, and a law graduate with more than 20 years of total post-qualification experience in Company Secretarial practices and legal affairs of various large group and multinational companies, with over 18 years of experience working with companies listed on the BSE, NSE, and NYSE.

She is also a registered Independent Director under the database of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs Governance practitioner holding a Post-Membership Diploma in Corporate Governance by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
