
BMW Group Appoints Neil Fiorentinos As UK & Ireland CEO, David George To Step Down
BMW Group has appointed Neil Fiorentinos as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its UK and Ireland business, effective September 1, 2026. He will succeed David George, who is leaving the company to pursue a leadership role outside BMW Group.
Fiorentinos currently serves as CEO of BMW Group Central and Southeastern Europe, based in Salzburg, where he oversees commercial operations across 12 countries. He joined BMW Group in South Africa in 1994 and has held leadership positions, including CEO of BMW Netherlands and President and CEO of BMW Group Asia. His experience spans sales, marketing, regional business management, and brand operations across multiple international markets within the BMW Group.
David George joined BMW Group in 2018 as Director of MINI UK and Ireland after building a career across the premium automotive industry. In this role, he worked closely with the company’s retail network and led the MINI business across the UK and Ireland. In 2021, he was appointed CEO of BMW Group Canada, where he oversaw the company’s operations in the Canadian market. He became CEO of BMW Group UK and Ireland in January 2024. After leading the business for more than two years, George is set to leave BMW Group to take up a leadership opportunity outside the company, with Neil Fiorentinos succeeding him from September 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
