Bharat Forge Welcomes Ravi Kapoor And Rashmi Joshi As Independent Directors

The Board of Directors of Bharat Forge Limited has approved the appointment of Ravi Kapoor and Rashmi Joshi as Non-Executive Independent Directors (Additional Directors) with effect from December 30, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders by way of postal ballot.

Kapoor is a Chartered Accountant with a career spanning 35 years in banking and financial services. He retired from Citibank in 2023 as Head of BCMA, covering corporate banking, capital markets, and advisory services for South Asia and India. He held leadership positions at Citibank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and ICICI Bank, managing over 600 deals worth USD 500 billion across industries. Kapoor has worked closely with Indian corporates, banks, financial institutions, and investment funds. He founded SACS Partners for financial advisory and capital raising and serves as an Independent Director at Dabur India Ltd.

Joshi is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with over 30 years of experience in multinational organisations across industries. She has held leadership roles in FMCG, consumer durables, pharmaceuticals, and lubricants, including CFO and Executive Director at Castrol India. Joshi served on Boards and committees of several companies, contributing to risk management, governance, and strategy. She has experience in acquisitions, divestments, and managing complex legal structures. She was an Independent Director at Thirdware Solutions and on the Board of Godrej Industries. Joshi has collaborated with leadership teams to implement and develop corporate strategies.
