B.V. Bhargava, Independent Director of Sumitomo Chemical India, has completed his five-year term

Bhupendranath V. Bhargava, Independent Director of Sumitomo Chemical India Limited, has ceased to be the Director of the company with effect from August 26, 2024, owing to completion of his five-year term of Independent Directorship.

In August 2019, he was appointed as an Independent Director of the company. He has more than five decades of experience in the field of banking projects and credit rating. He has served as a Director for several leading corporations, and he was a member of the advisory board for an independent regulatory body of the Government of India to drive reforms in the telecommunications sector.
