Aurobindo Pharma Reappoints K. Nithyananda Reddy as Vice Chairman & MD

On May 25, 2024, the Board of Directors of Aurobindo Pharma Limited approved the reappointment of K. Nithyananda Reddy as Vice Chairman and Managing Director (MD) for three years, with effect from June 1, 2024. Reappointment of M. Madan Mohan Reddy as Whole-time Director of the Company for a period of 3 years with effect from June 1, 2024. To seek approval of the shareholders for the continuation of P.V. Ramprasad Reddy as a Non-Executive Director of the company.

All the changes are subject to the approval of the members at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

K. Nityananda Reddy, 66, has expertise in manufacturing technology and is responsible for the overall affairs of the company. Reddy has played a key role in the overall operations of the company over the years. He is a veteran in the pharma industry and is well versed in manufacturing technologies, systems, processes, and controls. He holds a Master’s Degree in Science (Chemistry). He has been associated with the company since its incorporation as a promoter.

M. Madan Mohan Reddy, 64, has been associated with the company since 2006. He has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He holds a master’s degree in science. He has held top managerial positions in leading pharmaceutical companies.
