Arjun Kumar Appointed Independent Director at CESC

The Board of Directors of CESC has approved the appointment of Arjun Kumar as a Non-Executive Director in the category of an Independent Director, for a term of five years with effect from January 19, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Arjun Kumar, 53, having joined his family’s business, namely, Naresh Kumar & Company Private Limited, in 1992, has been serving as its Managing Director since 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education and physics from Homerton College, University of Cambridge.
