Anurag Tewari and Tarun Singh appointed as Independent Directors at GRM Foodkraft

GRM Overseas Limited, a leading Indian basmati rice exporter and growing consumer staples player, has recently announced the appointment of two Independent Directors to the Board of its unlisted material subsidiary, GRM Foodkraft Private Limited. Dr. Anurag Tewari, a seasoned R&D professional with over 30 years of experience in plant sciences research and the corporate sector, has been appointed to the Board. Dr. Tewari is currently the Dean of – the Agricultural Program at Chitkara University and is also the Chief Consultant with India’s leading Agri Consultancy firm, Rising Roots Agriculture Pvt. Ltd. He has notable expertise in Plant Tissue Culture & Molecular Biology based techniques and has led numerous international collaborations and projects. Mr. Tarun Singh, a renowned Techno Commercial-Business HR professional with over 10 years of multicultural experience across industries and geographies, has also been appointed as an Independent Director. Mr. Singh has been associated with multiple professional bodies and management institutes and has expertise in Cultural Transformation, Change Management, and Strategic HR in Product Development organisations. He holds an Independent Director position in GRM Overseas Limited since August 2022.
