Anup Engineering Appoints Reginaldo Dsouza as MD
The Anup Engineering Limited appointed Reginaldo Dsouza as Additional Director, designated as Managing Director (MD), for three years with effect from July 6, 2024. Anup Engineering also appoints Dhinal Shah and Gokul Jaykrishna as additional Directors designated as Independent Directors for five years, with effect from July 6, 2024. All the appointments are subject to the approval of the members.
Reginaldo Dsouza has 25 years of experience and has held multiple roles at Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company, including the leadership position in sales and marketing, estimations, and IT functions for the business. He has proven profit and loss (P&L) experience and was responsible for leading the new business initiatives at Godrej. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) from Great Lakes Institute, Chennai.
Dhinal Shah has over three decades of experience, and he is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is an Executive Committee Member of the International Fiscal Association and Secretary of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) Bar Association, Ahmedabad. He was a Central Council Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Director of International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), and Registered Valuer Organisations (RVO) formed by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and was Chairman of the Direct Tax Committee of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
Gokul Jaykrishna has over 26 years of experience in the chemical and pigment industries. He is a promoter of Asahi Songwon Colours. He used to work at Krieger Associates, New Jersey, one of the most influential currency and options traders in the USA. Since 1996, he has been in charge of the operation of Asahi Songwon Colours, including finance, production, marketing, and strategic development of the company. He also sits on the Board of AksharChem, India. He has a specialisation in finance from Lehigh University, USA.
