Ant Group Promotes Cyril Han As Incoming CEO, Eric Jing To Remain Chairman

Ant Group’s President, Cyril Han, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from March 1, 2025. He will take over the role from Eric Jing, who will continue as Chairman.

Han, who became President, in March 2023 during a major organisational overhaul. He oversees Ant’s digital payments, connectivity, and finance operations. Jing will remain as Chairman, with Han continuing to report to him.

Ant, a financial affiliate of Alibaba Group, operates Alipay and was once valued at over USD 300 billion before regulatory scrutiny halted its Initial Public Offerings (IPO). Han, who joined Alipay in 2014, has held roles including Vice President of Strategic Investment and CFO before becoming President.
