Amit Agarwal Appointed as CFO at Pfizer

The Board of Directors of Pfizer Limited appointed Amit Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Additional Director (whole-time Director), designated as Executive Director, Finance, with effect from February 26, 2024. For a term of 5 years, subject to the approval of shareholders.

Amit Agarwal is a Chartered Accountant, a Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary. Agarwal is a seasoned finance professional with 20 years of experience in finance functions, including Accounting, Reporting, Audit, Controls, Strategy and Change management, gained across diverse industries such as Consumer, Services and Mining. His last stint was with Hindustan Unilever Limited, where he spent the last 17 years serving in various roles. Prior to joining HUL, an early part of his career was with Vedanta Resources Limited as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Factory Commercial Manager.
