Abbott India’s Namita Shah Set To Step Down As Associate Director Of New Product Introduction & Therapy Area Strategy

Namita Shah, Associate Director of New Product Introduction and Therapy Area Strategy at Abbott India Limited, will be stepping down from her position with effect from April 15, 2025, to pursue opportunities outside the company.

Shah has over 30 years of experience in the industry. She began her career with Lupin Laboratories as Medical Representative (MR). Later, she held positions like Product Executive at Charak Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Deputy General Manager at Indoco Remedies Ltd., Senior Deputy General Manager at Alkem Laboratories Ltd., Head of Marketing at Wockhardt Ltd., and General Manager at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Shah holds a bachelor’s degree in pharma from the University of Mumbai, a master’s degree in management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, and an executive leadership program (organisational leadership) from the Indian School of Business.
