AAVAS Financiers Appoints Selvin Uthaman as Chief Business Officer

The board of Directors of AAVAS Financiers Limited has approved the appointment of Selvin Uthaman as the Chief Business Officer, effective June 8, 2024.

Selvin Uthaman has over two decades of experience in affordable home loans, SME loans, retail operations, business development, and financial product management. Previously, Uthaman served as the National Sales Head for Affordable Home Loans at Axis Bank. He has also held significant positions at India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) as the National Sales Head (SME Loans), Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Dewan Housing. He has a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Mumbai University and also has a Chief Executive Officer certification from IIM Lucknow, has completed a General Management Programme from IIM Ahmedabad, and an intermediate G1 certification from ICSI.
