SLI (Singapore) to Lead Steward Leadership Dialogue at Board Stewardship’s Bumper Huddles in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru
The Board Stewardship Bumper Huddle, with the Steward Leadership Institute (SLI), Singapore, as its Principal Partner, is set to bring a focused conversation on stewardship, purpose, profitable growth and responsible leadership to Mumbai’s boardroom community. Scheduled for Monday, October 5, 2026, at NCPA, Nariman Point, the Huddle will be held under the theme ‘Stewardship in Boardrooms’. As part of SLI’s exclusive engagement, Rajeev Peshawaria, CEO, Steward Leadership Institute, Singapore, will launch his book Maximum Purpose, Maximum Profit and lead discussions on purpose, profit and responsible growth.
SLI’s Steward Leadership Perspective
The SLI-led programme will be a key feature of the Bumper Huddle, bringing its perspective on steward leadership to Independent Directors, senior executives, CXOs and governance professionals. The evening will open with a welcome address by Vikesh Wallia, Managing Director & Editor, Board Stewardship, followed by an inaugural address by Shailesh Haribhakti, Chairman, Advisory Board, Board Stewardship.

A key highlight will be the launch of Maximum Purpose, Maximum Profit by Rajeev Peshawaria, CEO, Steward Leadership Institute, Singapore, followed by a Spotlight Session. Ahead of the Huddle, Peshawaria said, “The next decade of business will be defined by a simple test: does your company make the world better or worse for its existence? The SLI programme will continue with a Book Reading and Panel Discussion on ‘Maximum Purpose, Maximum Profit’, featuring Rajeev Peshawaria; Sunil Puri, Senior Vice President, Research & Engagement, Steward Leadership Institute, Singapore; Shailesh Haribhakti and Lakshmi Iyer.
The discussion will examine how businesses can pursue profitable growth while creating value for a wider group of stakeholders, and how boards can respond to changing expectations around corporate responsibility and long-term value creation.

The Mumbai engagement is part of Board Stewardship’s three-city Bumper Huddle series, with SLI as Principal Partner. The series continues with Delhi on October 7 at India Habitat Centre and Bengaluru on October 9 at JW Marriott.
