Peyman Kargar Set To Succeed K.N. Radhakrishnan As CEO Of TVS Motor

TVS Motor Company has appointed Peyman Kargar as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 27, 2027, replacing K.N. Radhakrishnan, who has led the company since 2008.

Before joining TVS Motor, Peyman Kargar was Global Chairman of Infiniti, Nissan Motor Company’s luxury brand, from 2020. Earlier, Kargar served as Chairman of Nissan for the Africa, Middle East and India region and CEO of the Datsun brand, overseeing operations across more than 80 countries. Before 2017, he was Vice President of Renault Group for the Africa, Middle East and India region, where he worked on expanding the company’s market presence. His responsibilities covered commercial, industrial, engineering and business development functions. His career spans leadership roles across automotive markets and business operations. He is an automotive industry executive with experience across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

K.N. Radhakrishnan began his career as a Management Trainee at Sundaram-Clayton Limited and later served as Executive Vice President for India operations before becoming President & CEO of TVS Motor Company. Radhakrishnan has played a role in the company’s growth as a two-wheeler manufacturer in India and overseas. During his tenure, TVS Motor received the Deming Application Prize in 2002 and the TPM Excellence Award in 2004. Under his leadership, the company established its overseas plant in Indonesia in 2007 and entered the three-wheeler segment in 2008. He also serves on the Boards of TVS Motor’s subsidiary companies. Radhakrishnan holds a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, and has completed the Management Education Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
