
Fortis Healthcare Board Approves Ashutosh Raghuvanshi’s Reappointment As Managing Director
Fortis Healthcare Limited has approved the reappointment of Ashutosh Raghuvanshi as Managing Director (MD) for a further term of two years, effective March 19, 2027, subject to shareholder approval. His current term as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and MD is scheduled to end on March 18, 2027.
Before joining Fortis Healthcare, Dr. Raghuvanshi served as Vice Chairman, Group CEO, and Managing Director of Narayana Health, overseeing the group’s hospital operations in India and overseas. During his medical career, he was associated with Bombay Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, Vijaya Heart Foundation, and Manipal Heart Foundation. In 2000, he joined Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata, where he led its development into a multispecialty hospital. Dr. Raghuvanshi is a cardiac surgeon and healthcare executive with over 26 years of experience in clinical practice and hospital management. He holds an MS in General Surgery from MGIMS and an MCh in Cardiac Surgery from the University of Mumbai.
