Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul & Rumjhum Chatterjee Set To Join DCM Shriram As Independent Directors
DCM Shriram Limited has appointed Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Rumjhum Chatterjee as Independent Directors for a five-year term beginning August 9, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
Sanjay Kishan Kaul is a former judge of the Supreme Court of India with experience across the judiciary. During his judicial career, he served as a judge of the Delhi High Court, Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, and Chief Justice of the Madras High Court before joining the Supreme Court in 2017. He also headed the National Legal Services Authority and the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee and currently serves as an International Judge at the Bahrain International Commercial Court. He graduated in Economics (Hons.) from St. Stephen’s College and earned an LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.
Rumjhum Chatterjee is Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of The Infravision Foundation, a think tank focused on infrastructure research, policy and advocacy. She is also a Co-Founder of the Feedback Infra Group and Chairperson of the Feedback Foundation Charitable Trust. She has held several leadership positions at the Confederation of Indian Industry, including Chairperson of the CII Women Exemplar Programme and Chair of the CII National Women’s Empowerment Committee. Her work has focused on infrastructure development, public policy, institutional initiatives, and leadership in industry bodies. Chatterjee holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Calcutta.
