Ramni Nirula, Shobinder Duggal & Shrinivas Dempo Retire As Independent Directors Of Kirloskar Brothers

Ramni Nirula, Shobinder Duggal, and Shrinivas Dempo have retired as Non-Executive Independent Directors of Kirloskar Brothers Limited upon completion of their terms, effective May 24, 2026.

Nirula is a former Senior General Manager at ICICI Bank with more than four decades of experience in financial services. She also served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) of ICICI Securities. She has served on the Boards of several companies, including DCM Shriram, P.I. Industries, HEG, and Usha Martin. She began her career at ICICI Ltd. in project appraisal and later held leadership roles in project financing, strategy, planning, resources, and corporate banking. She was part of the management team involved in ICICI Bank’s transition into a diversified financial services group and helped develop its rural banking, microfinance, and agriculture business. Nirula holds degrees in economics and business administration from Delhi University.

Duggal has around 35 years of experience with Nestlé in India and Switzerland. He served as CFO for Nestlé’s South Asia region from 2004 to 2020 and was Executive Director and CFO of Nestlé India. His responsibilities included financial planning, treasury, taxation, audits, and investor relations. He currently serves as an Independent Director at SBI Life Insurance and PI Industries. Duggal is a chartered accountant and economics graduate from Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College. He has completed executive development programmes at IMD Lausanne and training courses at London Business School (LBS) and Nestlé’s training centre in Switzerland.

Dempo is Chairman of the Goa-based Dempo Group, which operates across calcined petroleum coke, shipbuilding, food processing, real estate, and publishing. He has served as Chairman of the western region of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and was named honorary Vice Consul of Italy in Goa in 2013. He is the Chairman and Independent Director of Automobile Corporation of Goa. Dempo has also been associated with Indian football through Dempo Sports Club and was listed among influential figures in Indian sports in 2010. He serves on the executive council of Goa University and is linked with organisations focused on education, healthcare, culture, and environmental conservation. He holds degrees from the University of Mumbai and Carnegie Mellon University.
