Sushil Kumar Reappointed As CFO Of GE Vernova T&D India; Marco Simiano Appointed As Non-Independent Director

Sushil Kumar has been reappointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Whole-Time Director of GE Vernova T&D India Limited for a further period of five (5) years, with effect from January 1, 2027, subject to the approval of shareholders.

Meanwhile, Marco Simiano has been appointed as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director (Additional Director) of the company, with effect from July 1, 2026.

Sushil Kumar has more than 26 years of experience in finance and has worked with companies including GE, Alstom, Areva, and Schneider Electric. He has been associated with his current company for the past 14 years and has managed responsibilities across strategy, commercial finance, treasury, turnkey business operations, business planning, and finance integration initiatives. He has also led several finance transformation and operational initiatives during his tenure. Kumar started his career as an audit manager at A.F. Ferguson & Co., where he worked for three years before joining the power sector. He is a chartered accountant and an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) under the University of Delhi (DU).

Marco Simiano is a business executive at GE Vernova with more than two decades of experience in the energy sector. His work has covered commercial strategy, product management, and technology development across international markets. He currently serves as Chief Commercial and Product Officer of Grid Automation at GE Vernova, where he oversees global strategy and commercial operations for the business segment. Simiano holds a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Palermo, an international MBA from the University of St. Gallen, and a PhD from ETH Zurich. His experience includes managing business expansion, technology programmes, and operational transformation in regulated energy markets.
