SBI Restructures Leadership, Promotes Eight Executives To Deputy Managing Directors Position

The State Bank of India (SBI) has promoted eight senior executives to the position of Deputy Managing Director (Dy MD), effective April 21, 2026.

The executives elevated to the role include Amit Verma, Debasish Mishra, Dipak Kumar De, Niraj Kumar Panda, Ratna Teja Dinakara Akella, Sahadevan Radhakrishnan, Sukhvinder Kaur Ganesh, and Varinder Khanna. The bank informed stock exchanges about the changes as part of mandatory compliance requirements. The filing was issued by Aruna N. Dak, Deputy General Manager (Dy GM) for compliance and company secretary functions.

The appointments form part of an internal restructuring process to expand senior management capacity and oversight across business operations. The lender updates its leadership structure periodically to align with operational requirements in domestic and overseas markets.
