Krishna Kumar Thakur Appointed As Director (Personnel) Of NMDC Steel

Krishna Kumar Thakur has been appointed as Director (Personnel) on the Board of NMDC Steel Limited, w.e.f. the date of his assumption of the charge of the post, i.e., March 19, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Thakur has served as Director (Human Resources) on the Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals since July 2023. With over 25 years of experience across Indian Railways and public sector units, he has managed HR and administration in Solapur, Bhopal, and Mumbai divisions. He has also worked with RITES Limited and Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., handling HR systems, recruitment, and policy implementation. A 1998-batch officer of the Indian Railway Personnel Service, he holds a postgraduate degree in Literature from Tilka Manjhi University and a PGDM in Human Resources from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
