NALCO Promotes Nine Executives To Executive Director (Senior Management) Roles

Satyabadi Mishra, Gautam Harichandan Mahapatra, Ravi Manie, Asutosh Rath, Sachidananda Jena, Sandeep Darbari, Venkata Subba Rao Amperayani, Amarendra Kumar Mishra, and Vedula Surendra Sai Anand have been promoted to the role of Executive Director (Senior Management) of National Aluminium Company Limited, effective March 7, 2026.

Satyabadi Mishra, earlier Chief General Manager of Captive Power Plant (CGM–CPP), has been with the company since 1988 and handled operations and maintenance of the Captive Power Plant and the Utkal Coal Mine at Angul. Gautam Harichandan Mahapatra, earlier Executive Director of Marketing under the Executive Promotion Order cadre (EPO–ED), joined in 1994 and has overseen aluminium and chemical sales along with transformation initiatives. Ravi Manie, previously CGM and Senior Technical Secretary to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), has worked on project execution and technology initiatives.

Asutosh Rath, earlier Executive Director of Human Resources under the EPO cadre, manages human resources, talent management, industrial relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Sachidananda Jena, earlier Executive Director of Smelter and Power under the EPO cadre, has worked with the Smelter and Power Complex at Angul. Sandeep Darbari, former CGM of Marketing, handles government coordination and sales in Northern India.

Venkata Subba Rao Amperayani, earlier CGM of Port Facilities, oversees port operations and logistics. Amarendra Kumar Mishra, earlier Executive Director of Mines and Refinery under the EPO cadre, oversees operations at the Mines and Refinery Complex in Damanjodi. Vedula Surendra Sai Anand, earlier Executive Director of Projects under the Executive Promotion Order cadre (EPO–ED Project), leads expansion projects at the Mines and Refinery Complex in Damanjodi.
