
Per Hornung Pedersen Concludes His Tenure As Independent Director Of Suzlon Energy
Per Hornung Pedersen retired as an Independent Director of Suzlon Energy Limited, effective September 28, 2025, upon completion of his tenure.
Pedersen has over 40 years of experience in managerial and executive roles across construction, packaging, telecom, and renewable sectors. Currently, he is a senior advisor to McKinsey, Atrium Partners, and MCF Corporate Finance, and serves as Chairman of PNE AG, Germany, while holding several board and advisory positions. He began his career at Arthur Andersen and entered the wind industry in 2000 as CFO of NEG Micon/Vestas, later joining Suzlon in 2004, where he helped the company become the fifth-largest global player. He also served as CEO of REpower, doubling turnover to 1.2 billion euros and quadrupling EBITA to around 100 million euros. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, a diploma in tax and audit, and an MBA.
