Anand shared, “My gratitude to the team Board Stewardship for making the webinar a resounding success – highly appreciate your invite for me to deliver the keynote. An amazing set of insightful speakers and 115 engaged attendees who stayed from start to finish speaks volumes for the event.”
Panel 01: Cybersecurity – A Boardroom Watch
The panel featured Mayurakshi Ray, Independent Director and CXO Advisor, along with Yukti Arora, Co-founder & CEO of Aumyaa Consulting; Muralidharan Ramachandran, Independent Director and Consultant; and Gaurav Mahajan, Partner at The Precept Law Offices, who collectively emphasised the need for integrated cyber governance.
Mayurakshi Ray remarked, “It was heartening to see such engagement on a topic that’s no longer optional, but essential. As Boards steer through AI, data, and emerging threats, embedding cybersecurity into the core of governance is the call of the hour.”
Yukti Arora stressed, “As threats grow more complex, so must our oversight. Cyber risk is no longer just an IT concern—it’s a core governance imperative.”
Muralidharan Ramachandran noted, “Cybersecurity is a strategic business risk, not just a technical issue, and deserves attention equal to financial, operational, and reputational risks. In today’s dynamic VUCA environment, integrating cybersecurity into the enterprise ERM framework and monitoring it in near real time is crucial.”
Gaurav Mahajan emphasised, “It was a pleasure being one of the speakers in such a great and insightful session. My sincere gratitude to the Board Stewardship team for this opportunity and such an engaging, experienced, talented, and knowledgeable Webinar. It was a phenomenal experience.”
Panel 02: AI in the Chair
The panel, ‘AI in the Chair,’ included Sandeep Arora, CEO of Sunxora Solutions and Former President – Digital Experiences at Datamatics; Sriharsha Narasimhan, Independent Director and former CTO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise; Abhijit Kabra, Independent Director and former MD at Accenture; and Dinesh Arora, Founder & CEO of Finnulate by FTN Solutions, who explored how AI is no longer a peripheral issue but central to strategic decision-making.
Sandeep Arora shared, “It was a rich and thought-provoking discussion on what AI means for us as board members — not just as a technology, but as something that’s reshaping how we think about business, risk, and governance.”
Sriharsha Narasimhan pointed out, “Addressing AI requires comprehensive policies and awareness from leadership to employees, as technology is evolving faster than its adoption. Delaying AI implementation is no longer a viable option for organisations.”
Abhijit Kabra shared, “Directors should harness AI themselves — for risk intelligence, regulatory tracking, sharper decision-making, and distilling complex board materials into actionable insights — saving time and improving clarity.”
Dinesh Arora stressed, “An insightful exchange on ‘AI in the Chair’—highlighting the Board’s evolving role in steering responsible AI adoption. Grateful to Board Stewardship for curating such a timely dialogue on embedding AI into strategic and ethical boardroom agendas.”
The webinar concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Krishna Tewari, Executive Director, Board Stewardship.
Supported by Knowledge Partner BoardPAC and Corporate Partners Relia Smart Global Advisory (FZE) and JHS, the webinar reaffirmed Board Stewardship’s commitment to equipping Directors with the tools and perspectives needed to navigate a digitally complex future.
