Four Independent Directors Join Raymond Realty Board Post-Demerger

Raymond Realty Limited (RRL) has announced the appointment of four Independent Directors—K. Narsimha Murthy, Dipali Sheth, Ashish Kapadia, and Bharat Khanna—to its Board.

The move comes as part of RRL’s transition following its demerger from Raymond Ltd and in preparation for its upcoming listing. Gautam Hari Singhania will chair the Board, while Harmohan Sahni will continue as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD). The appointments follow the National Company Law Tribunal’s (NCLT) approval last year of Raymond’s restructuring plan, which included the demerger of its lifestyle business and the merger of Ray Global Consumer Trading into Raymond Lifestyle. The reorganisation is designed to streamline Raymond’s operations, with the company targeting zero net debt across its lifestyle and non-lifestyle verticals following the restructuring.
