Schneider Electric Appoints Esther Finidori As Chief Sustainability Officer, Another CSO Appointment In-2025
Schneider Electric has appointed Esther Finidori as its new Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), effective June 1, marking the company’s second CSO transition this year. Finidori succeeds Chris Leong, who briefly held the CSO position earlier this year before departing to become EVP and Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer at Ecolab.
Finidori, who has been with Schneider Electric since 2016, most recently served as Vice President of Strategy for its French operations. Over her nine-year tenure, she has held several sustainability-focused roles, including Director of Supply Chain Sustainability and VP of Global Environmental Strategy. She now joins the company’s executive committee to lead its next phase of sustainability efforts. Before joining Schneider, she worked as an environmental consultant, specialising in clean energy and green finance. She also contributed to EU policy as a member of the European Commission’s Platform on Sustainable Finance, helping shape sustainable finance regulations.
Her appointment comes as the company seeks to further embed sustainability into its business and maintain its global leadership in environmental innovation.
