Krishnamoorthi Meyyanathan & Surilisubbu Vasudevan Reappointed As Independent Directors At BGR Energy Systems
Krishnamoorthi Meyyanathan and Surilisubbu Vasudevan have been reappointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors of BGR Energy Systems Limited with effect from May 14, 2025, by passing a special resolution through postal ballot by remote e-voting process.
Meyyanathan is a senior practicing Company Secretary based in Chennai with over 14 years of professional practice. Before this, he held various positions in reputed State Government Public Sector Undertakings such as Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd, TAPCO, and AAVIN, retiring as Senior Company Secretary in the DGM cadre in January 2010. His professional journey spans more than 30 years in employment and covers a wide range of functions, including secretarial work, accounts, finance, banking, administration, budgeting and control, inventory control, and general management. His background reflects extensive involvement in both Corporate Governance and operational areas across public sector and private practice environments.
Vasudevan has over three decades of managerial experience, with the initial 14 years focused on core accounting and MIS at the middle management level. He has 25 years of post-qualification experience across textile mills, garment manufacturing units, steel and power plants, service industries, and IT infrastructure companies. His work spans finance, accounts, secretarial management, imports and exports, and operations. He has been involved in sourcing finance from banks and institutions, covering the entire process from identification to disbursement, including project reports, loan documentation, and compliance.
