Ranjit Vasant Pandit Steps Down As Independent Director Of CEAT

Ranjit Vasant Pandit, Non-Executive Independent Director of CEAT Limited, has resigned, effective March 02, 2025, stating that after nearly ten years on the Board, he wishes to step down.

Pandit previously served as Managing Director (MD) at General Atlantic LLC from 2007 to 2012 and later as an Advisory Director in 2013. Before that, he was MD and Chairman of McKinsey & Company in India and co-founded McKinsey’s India practice. He has also worked with various government and regulatory bodies on policy matters. Pandit holds a B.E. in electrical engineering from VJTI, University of Mumbai, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
