Dr. Kavita Sharma Concludes Her Term As Independent Director Of Universal Cables

Dr. Kavita A. Sharma, Non-Executive Independent Director of Universal Cables Limited, retires with effect from February 05, 2025, on completion of her tenure.

Dr. Sharma served as the Director of the India International Centre, New Delhi. She has received several fellowships, including the Faculty Enrichment Fellowship by Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute in Vancouver, and was conferred the “Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana Award” by the National Integration and Economic Council. She has also served as the President of South Asian University, New Delhi. Additionally, she was an honorary visiting lecturer at Tokyo Women’s Christian College and the University of Indonesia. Dr. Sharma holds a Ph.D. in English and an M.A. in English from Delhi University, as well as an LL.M. from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
