Pradip P. Shah Concludes His Term As Independent Director & Chairman Of Kansai Nerolac Paints

Pradip P. Shah will retire upon completion of his term of office as an Independent Director and consequently, cease to be a Director and Chairman of Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, with effect from January 29, 2025.

Shah is the founder of lndAsia, a corporate finance, private equity, and investment advisory business. He is also the co-founder of Grow-Trees, a web-enabled social initiative, and Universal Trustees Private Limited. In 1994, he helped establish the Indocean Fund, the first foreign India-dedicated private equity fund, in association with affiliates of Chase Capital Partners and Soros Fund Management. Shah has also been the Managing Director of CRISIL. Additionally, he played a key role in the founding of the Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC). He also served as a consultant to USAID, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. Shah holds an MBA from Harvard and is a Management Accountant.
