Coromandel Engineering Welcomes New CFO Babu Razack and COO Sethupathy R.

The Board of Directors of Coromandel Engineering Company Limited has approved the appointment of Babu Razack as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from December 14, 2024. He has succeeded Ravichandran Perumal, who resigned on November 15, 2024, due to personal reasons.

Sethupathy R. has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company with effect from December 14, 2024.

Perumalrajan Seeni has transitioned into a role as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the company with effect from December 14, 2024.

Ganeshkumar I. has transitioned his role as Associate Vice President of Technical & Operations of the Company with effect from December 14, 2024.

S. Sridevi, Independent Director of the company, has resigned from her position with effect from December 14, 2024.

Babu Razack has over 25 years of experience in finance leadership at a reputed firm in Kuwait with multiple subsidiaries. He also has over two years of teaching experience for MBA students at IGNOU Kuwait. His expertise spans cost and management accounting, managerial economics, and finance. He is seeking a CFO or Finance Director role in contracting or manufacturing companies in the construction or oil and energy sectors. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) (USA) and a qualified Cost Accountant ACMA (India) and has an MBA in Finance.

R. Sethupathy has 38 years of experience in public infrastructure, urban development, and housing projects. He has held roles at the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board and Public Works Department. His contributions include township developments in Semmancherry and Perumbakkam, large-scale housing under PMAY-HFA, and urban resettlement initiatives with global partnerships. He earned a Best Performance Award from MoHUA and has led state-wide housing projects as Chief Engineer. He is a civil engineer with a B.E. (Civil) from NIT Trichy (1984).
