Siraj Chaudhry Resigned As Independent Director Of Tata Consumer Products

Siraj Chaudhry submitted his resignation as an Independent Director of Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL) on September 9, 2024, effective September 30, 2024. His decision was driven by his pursuit of other interests that may impact his ability to fulfil his responsibilities on the TCPL Board. Additionally, Chaudhry has resigned from the Boards and committees of associated companies, including Tata Coffee Vietnam Company Ltd. and Consolidated Coffee Inc..

Siraj Chaudhry has over 36 years of experience, and he currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of SATS India. Previously, he was MD & CEO of NCML. He also served as Chairman of Cargill India. He is also recognised for driving Cargill’s efforts in edible oil fortification, a project hailed by Fortune Magazine as a “Change the World” initiative. He is an Independent Director on the Boards of several companies, including Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd., Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd., Bikaji Foods International Ltd., Dhanuka Agritech Ltd., and Carrier Airconditioning & Refrigeration Ltd., among others. He also serves on the advisory councils of AB InBev India, Louis Dreyfus Company, and Stanton Chase India. He was an Independent Director on the Board of IndusInd Bank and a member of the CDC Group’s (now BII) Food & Agriculture Advisory Council. He has chaired the National Committee on Food Processing and co-chaired the National Agriculture Committee at FICCI. He has led the Agriculture and Food Committees at the American Chamber of Commerce and the US India Business Council in India. He holds a B.Com. (Hons.) from Delhi University and a Master’s in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
