Lalita D. Gupte, Vimal Bhandari Among Independent Directors Retiring From Bharat Forge

Prataprao G. Pawar, Lalita D. Gupte, P.H. Ravikumar, and Vimal Bhandari ceased to be the Independent Directors of Bharat Forge Limited upon completion of their second term of five years with effect from September 3, 2024.

Gupte retired from her role as Joint Managing Director and Board Member of ICICI Bank Limited in October 2006. Her journey with ICICI Bank started in 1971, and she held various leadership positions in areas like corporate and retail banking, strategy, resources, and international banking. She has played a crucial role in expanding ICICI Bank’s international business since 2001.

Bhandari is a qualified professional with more than 35 years of experience in the financial services sector. He has rich board experience spanning over two and a half decades. He currently serves as the Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Arka Fincap Limited (AFL). He sits on the boards of numerous businesses in a range of industries, including HDFC Trustee and JK Tyre as an Independent Director. Bhandari holds a degree in commerce from the Sydenham College of Mumbai University and is a Chartered Accountant.
