Gabriel India Appoints Atul Jaggi as Managing Director

The Board of Directors of Gabriel India Limited, on July 19, 2024, approved the appointment of Atul Jaggi as Managing Director (MD) with effect from October 18, 2024. Subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company.

Manoj Rajendra Kolhatkar, Managing Director, has tendered his resignation w.e.f. October 17, 2024, via a resignation letter dated July 19, 2024, citing personal reasons. He shall also cease to be a member of the Stakeholder Relationship Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board.

Atul Jaggi, 47, is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has also completed the ’Visionary Leader in Manufacturing (VLFM) programme; the prestigious ‘Advanced Management Programme from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA; and the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme (OSLP) from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. He has 25 years of experience. He is also a Director on the Boards of Mahle Anand Filters and Dana Anand India. In the past, he has also served as Deputy MD of Gabriel India and was the Director on the Boards of Haldex India and Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from IMT Ghaziabad before completing his master’s in quality management from BITS Pilani.
