Sanofi India’s Head of General Medicines & India Medical Lead, Shalini Menon has retired
Sanofi India Limited has informed the stock exchanges about the superannuation of Dr. Shalini Menon, General Medicines Medical Head and India Medical Lead. Her last working day will be July 5, 2024. She has been designated as a Senior Management Personnel of the company.
In 2015, Dr. Shalini Menon joined Sanofi as the Director of Medical Affairs for Diabetes. In 2018, she was promoted to Country Medical Director for India and South Asia. Dr. Menon started her career at Pfizer, where she spent six years managing the cardio-metabolic portfolio and serving as the Clinical Development Lead. After Pfizer, she spent four years at Boehringer Ingelheim as the Head of Medical Affairs for Diabetes and Medical Information. She holds a postgraduate degree in pharmacology (MD, DNB) from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai and a Master’s degree in pharmaceutical medicine (MSc) from the University of Hibernia in Dublin.
