A Balasubramanian Reappointed As MD of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC

On June 25, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited announced to the stock exchange the reappointment of A Balasubramanian as Managing Director (MD) for three years.

Furthermore, Vishal Shah has been appointed Head of Internal Audit and Senior Management Personnel (SMP) with effect from June 26.

Balasubramanian, who has been with the organisation since 1995, served as Chief Investment Officer from 2006 to 2009 before becoming the CEO in 2009. He has completed advanced management programmes at the Indian Institute of Management,Bangalore, and Harvard Business School. Additionally, he holds a bachelor’s degree in science (mathematics) and a master’s degree in business administration from GlobalNxt University.
