Dr. Lal PathLabs’ CEO Bharath U. Resigns

Bharath U, Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of Dr. Lal PathLabs Limited, has resigned and requested the Board to relieve him from the services of the company on or before May 20, 2024. His request has been accepted, and the company will relieve him with effect from May 9, 2024.

Bharath Uppilliappan joined Dr. Lal Pathlabs in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer and later became CEO. Before his tenure at Dr. Lal, he served as the Circle Chief Executive Officer at Bharti Airtel and held the position of Senior Vice President at Bharti Retail. He also worked with Bharti Wal-Mart Pvt. Ltd. and Hindustan Unilever Limited after starting his career with Wipro Infotech as a sales executive. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and pursued his postgraduate degree at the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
