SMPs Rohit Kumar And Anil Shipley Resign From Polycab India
Polycab India Limited has announced the resignation of Rohit Kumar from his post as President and Chief Business Officer and Anil Shipley from his position as Executive President, Strategic Projects, Electricals, and Electronics. Rohit Kumar’s resignation is effective December 4, 2023, while Anil Shipley’s last working day would be February 8, 2024.
Rohit Kumar has been leading the FMEG business of Polycab India since 2014 and has over 30 years of experience. Kumar has contributed to renowned companies such as Bajaj Electricals Ltd., Panasonic Energy, and Larsen & Toubro. His extensive expertise spans both the FMCG and FMEG sectors, encompassing both B2C and B2B domains. He graduated in Computer Science and obtained a Masters Degree in Management Studies from FMS, BHU.
Anil Shipley currently serves as the Executive President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Polycab India, having joined the company on October 1, 2018. With extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement, he previously worked at Bajaj Electricals Limited for five years, reaching the post of Executive President and Head of Supply Chain Management. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Blue Star Limited, where his final role was Senior General Manager in Procurement. Anil Shipley holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (Mechanical Engineering) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
