Suraj Saharan is new Chief People Officer at Delhivery, Varun Bakshi to Head Business Development

Suraj Saharan is appointed as Chief People Officer of Delivery Limited in addition to his current role as Head of New Ventures, with effect from January 15, 2024. He replaced Pooja Gupta; her last working day will be January 15, 2024. From November 4, she will be working on the smooth transition of her role to Suraj Saharan, one of the co-founders of Delhivery Limited. He has previously been associated with M/s. Bain & Company India Private Limited as a consultant and M/s. ICICI Lombard as a Risk Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

The company has also appointed Varun Bakshi as Head of Business Development, PTL (Part Truck Load Business), redesignating his existing role as Head of Investor Relations and Treasury. With effect from January 9, 2024, he will be designated as SMP. He replaced Uday Sharma, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside the company with effect from January 9, 2024. From November 4, Sharma will be assisting in the smooth transition of his role to Varun Bakshi. Bakshi has been working with Delhivery Limited for more than two years. His previous experience includes roles in sales at Deutsche Bank, followed by Invest India, and a stint as a fintech entrepreneur before joining Delhivery Limited. He holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
