Sanjeevan Nikhar Appointed Group CCO of PNB

Sanjeevan Nikhar, currently the Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank, has been appointed as the bank’s Group Chief Compliance Officer, with immediate effect. Experienced public sector banker Nikharis is currently in charge of the Audit and Inspection department. Previously, he led the Hyderabad Zone, covering three states, and worked in various roles at Oriental Bank. Skilled in areas like Corporate Credit Analysis, Commercial Banking, Trade Finance, Branch Banking, and cross-selling. He completed his executive leadership development programme in banking at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, which was organised by the Bank Board Bureau under the guidance of Egon Zehnder. He also holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from Sikkim Manipal University (distance education), completed a Leadership Development Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and earned a CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He has an MSc in Physics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

Jatinder Singh Bajaj, appointed as Shareholder Director at the Punjab National Bank for a duration of 3 years, with effect from October 6, 2023 to October 5, 2026.

With a strong leadership quality, marketing acumen and technical expertise, Jatinder Singh Bajaj connects easily with all team members. He has diverse and rich experience in Marketing, Information Technology, Human Resources, etc. Bajaj holds a Postgraduate Degree in the field of Economics from Punjab University, Chandigarh. PNB said in a release.
