Solara Active Pharma Sciences Ltd has announced that Poorvank Purohit has been appointed the Managing Director and CEO of the Company. The appointment is effective from Wednesday 5th July 2023. The Company has also appointed Kartheek Chintalapati  Raju as the Non-executive Non- Independent Director.

Poorvank Purohit who takes over from Jitesh Devendra has had a remarkable 19-year career with extensive B2B expertise in API and Finished Dosage Forms. Acknowledged as a transformational leader, he has been honoured with prestigious titles such as “Person of the Year 2021” by Inner Review Magazine. Additionally, CEO Insights Magazine has recognized him as one of the esteemed “Top 10 Chief Operating Officers 2021” across various sectors. Poorvank holds a Chemical Engineering degree from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, and is an alumnus of the IIMB as well as the Wharton Business School.

Kartheek Chintalapati Raju brings with him experience in Investment and Consulting, spanning over a decade. At iLabs, his focus lies on investments in the Pharma, Power, and Commercial Real Estate sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Degree in Economics, Accounts, and Finance from Claremont McKenna College.
