Uttam Lal takes over as Director (Personnel) NHPC

Uttam Lal has been appointed as the Director of NHPC Limited on 14th May 2023.

Before joining NHPC, he worked at NTPC Ltd  as the Chief General Manager and CEO of NTPC Foundation. He oversaw the Rehabilitation & Resettlement and Land Acquisition functions. He has 35 years of expertise in CSR and R&R, with core strengths in land acquisition, policies and wages, industrial relations, and employee benefits roles, among others. Lal is a management graduate in human resources from Xavier Institute of Social Sciences (XISS), Ranchi. Uttam Lal also possesses additional qualifications such as a Bachelor of Law (HRM) and Harvard Manage-mentor Certification.
