Sundaram Brake’s Independent Director Mr. T Kannan passes away

Sundaram Brake Linings Limitedshares the news of the untimely and tragic death of Mr. T Kannan, a Non-Executive Independent Directorof the company, on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Mr. T Kannan, a graduate in Business Administration from Madurai University, emerged as a remarkable figure with a wealth of experience in the textile industry. Holding esteemed positions such as Chairman of the Textiles Committee and The Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council in Mumbai, as well as Chairman of The South India Mills’ Association from 1990 to 1992.

Mr. T Kannan held prominent positions throughout his career. He served as Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Southern Region, Chennai, and was a member of the Southern Regional Board of the Industrial Development Bank of India.
